The Deanship of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Al-Qadisiyah has welcomed the officials of the Civil Defense Department in Al-Qadisiyah governorate, headed by Major Mohammed Shakir Neima on Sunday, 12th February 2023. The Major was briefed and toured inside and around the college, accompanied with the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Dhiah Al-Shammary as he expressed his great satisfaction with the precautionary arrangements taken in facing of any emergency situations that the buildings may be exposed to, as the college has recently witnessed extensive reconstruction and renovation cases.

The formed implementation committees took into account the precautionary arrangements required during the renovation of the deanship building and the scientific departments by providing an early warning system in cases of fire and other critical situations, in addition to urging the faculty members to adhere to safety procedures and to ensure that lights and electrical appliances are turned off after the end of the official working hours. Strict orders were issued to take into account the removal of flammable materials and not to conflict with the recommendations of the Civil Defense during any construction operations by not using flammable materials such as plastic packaging and flammable panels.
