Assist. Lect. Alaa Ahmed Abdul Hussein included an overview of the spread of the English language in the world: the first section was about defining technology and the role of the English language in programming and establishing technology (technological devices) and its essential role as a basic programming language. The second section was about the role of technology (in addition to other factors such as trade, wars, and the industrial revolution) that contributed to the spread of the English language around the world, classifying it as a global language. The lecturer also highlighted the role of technology in facilitating the process of learning the English language for both teachers and students.
