The team of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology for female students at the University of Al-Qadisiyah was crowned third in the university’s volleyball championship in the midst of a crowd attending the coronation ceremony in the presence of university leaders represented by the President of the University of Al-Qadisiyah, Prof. Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Dhiah Al-Shammary with several deans of faculties and heads of departments. The ceremony has been successfully directed and managed by the Director of the Department of Sports Activities, Assistant Professor Dr. Imad Odeh Al-Amiri.

This is the first participation of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology with a team of female students, as Mr. Al-Shammary indicated that the college has directed all its capabilities to support the activities of all students and support female students to activate and achieve the recent goals of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the aspect of empowering women. Al-Shammary has praised the high level of female students to obtain the third place despite being the first participation. Al-Shammary also thanked the officials of student activities in the college and the follow-up and management of Mr. Wahab Razzaq from the Student Activities Division for his great efforts in managing and following up the sports teams in the college
