The Research Unit at CSIT has organized a scientific seminar titled “Mathematics and Its Applications in Artificial Intelligence” conducted by Dr. Alaa Ta’ima Abdul-Kadhim .
The seminar highlights the importance of using artificial intelligence algorithms and their relationship with mathematics, which serves as the foundation for developing algorithms and models in machine learning, deep learning, data science, linear algebra, probability theory, statistics, calculus, and information theory.
The applications of artificial intelligence in solving mathematical problems by reviewing various websites and applications that utilize artificial intelligence to solve mathematical problems. These tools can assist in solving anything from basic calculations to advanced differential and integral problems.
The role and significance of ChatGPT were discussed in providing step-by-step solutions to mathematical problems. It was emphasized that ChatGPT helps explain fundamental concepts and formulas, understand the underlying logic of the solution, and enhance students’ skills in learning mathematics.
