Wiley International Publishing has nominated Dr. Dhiah Al-Shammary, an Associate Professor at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Qadisiyah, for the International Award in Computer Science and Computer Applications. This nomination is in recognition of his recently published research, conducted in collaboration with a team of Australian researchers. The research focuses on the development and mathematical derivation of a fractal mathematical model and its utilization in enhancing the capabilities of transmitting and receiving ECG pulses over networks. This innovative work has resulted in the derivation of new mathematical parameters capable of describing ECG for patients and compressing their size without compromising the quality of the transmitted cardiac signal.
