The master’s thesis discussion at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Qadisiyah, revolved around the research conducted by the master’s student, Hussein Ali Rahman. The thesis, titled “A Proposed Method for Arabic Text Classification Using Multi-Label Classification Systems,” was presented to the faculty council under the supervision of Dr. salwa Shakir Baiwi.

The aim of this study was to present a text classification model for Arabic text with predefined and multiple labels to organize and store data. Machine Learning strategies were employed in constructing the proposed model, specifically using Binary Relevance and Label Power Set techniques. These techniques were utilized to generate a classification model capable of automatically extracting features from Arabic text.

One of the key findings of this study was the effectiveness of the model in identifying text features and attributes, in addition to the ability to assign multiple relevant labels to the document’s content. Furthermore, it highlighted the significant role of Arabic text classification in various fields, including security, protection, spam detection, information retrieval, and web searching.

The thesis was accepted with excellent.
