{"id":1018,"date":"2023-10-30T10:09:45","date_gmt":"2023-10-30T10:09:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cmc.qu.edu.iq\/en\/?p=1018"},"modified":"2023-10-30T10:09:45","modified_gmt":"2023-10-30T10:09:45","slug":"csit-hosts-the-university-chess-tournament","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cmc.qu.edu.iq\/en\/2023\/10\/30\/csit-hosts-the-university-chess-tournament\/","title":{"rendered":"CSIT Hosts the University Chess Tournament"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dr. Mustafa Jawad Radif, the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, commenced the University Chess Tournament on October 25, 2023, with the participation of 30 players from 18 colleges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tournament lasted approximately 6 hours under the supervision of the international referees, Dr. Mustafa Jawad and Mr. Sermed Lutfi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition was intense, with players competing in five rounds. The College of Engineering, Medicine, and Pharmacy secured the top three spots for male players, while the Colleges of Management and Economics, Biotechnologies, and Education for Girls achieved the
